MIMHC Mental Health & Wellbeing Survey Report 2023

The Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter have launched their mental health and wellbeing report for 2023.

To coincide with the Mental Health Foundation, Mental Health Awareness Week 2023, MIMHC have launched its latest annual Mental Health and Wellbeing Report.

This is the fourth year we have surveyed mortgage brokers for their thoughts and opinions on the state of their collective mental health and wellbeing.

Our report explores the mortgage industry’s current wellbeing, and importantly, highlights the key areas in which mental health provision needs to improve. Our mission is to implement best practice mental health support in the mortgage industry and shine a light on the challenges facing our sector including isolation, stress, financial worries and fears for the future.

We were delighted with the response this year, which was up 42% on 2022, highlighting the increased awareness of, and importance of mental wellbeing to all of us. We are indeed keeping the mental health conversation going but there is still much to do. Together we must continue to collaborate to nurture healthier, happier workforces, where every person has the confidence to, and can access a helping hand in times of need.
